Involve Me And I Learn

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” (Benjamin Franklin)
Tactile games like puzzles pull us in, teaching us through hands-on experience and making the lessons stick far better than a lecture ever could…or perhaps they demonstrate the art of playful frustration?
From the Rubik’s Cube that taunts you with its colorful chaos, to the peg game that seems simple but is anything but--and those metal puzzles that look like they belong in a magician’s toolbox-- each item has its own way of challenging your brain and testing your patience. But hey, that’s part of the fun, right?
Puzzles remind us there is no single way to approach life’s challenges--sometimes life is about finding joy in the process, even if the solution feels a million moves away.
Sheri: There is definitely something satisfying about finally untangling those tricky metal loops or lining up the colors on the cube. It’s like a mini victory dance in your brain.
Bill: Yep--a little challenge never hurt anyone. Plus, who doesn’t love the excuse to shout, “I did it!” when the puzzle finally clicks?
In the end, these little games can remind us not to take life too seriously. Laugh at our mistakes, celebrate small wins, and maybe even throw the peg game across the room once or twice…in a very loving way, of course!
