“Celebrate where you are and keep going!”

Do you know where you’re going, and what it looks like when you get there? While your path is headed for a specific destination, there are many sub destinations along the way. Every day you’re in a new moment, so enjoy where you are and all the momentum you worked hard to create.

Sheri: Enjoy where you are at the moment…this reminds me of our song “Feels Alright”:

“Haven’t reached where I want to go

I’m somewhere in-between is all I know

But it feels alright, it feels alright

It feels alright, it feels alright, it feels alright!”

Bill: Sometimes the path seems tedious, like way back in a former life when I first learned to run with my dad, who was a world-class runner. He would set markers/goals for us along the path to “celebrate” how we ran so far.  He then suggested I might enjoy a long run more if I would think about the pauses between each step as an opportunity to glide and rest. Neat trick that worked, and I began to enjoy the moments I spent running with my Dad.

Where we are is always the sum of our choices and decisions up to that moment in time. Like where you are? Awesome! Don’t like where you are? Change something…anything you change will slightly alter the current path you’re on. Just apply a little bit of self-programming to re-direct your path as you continue your journey.

Be sure to celebrate where you are today….and then keep going!
