“Autumn ... the year's last, loveliest smile.”
Sheri: This picture draws me in—I want to walk that leafy path. It reminds me of the feeling I get when Katsumoto (in “The Last Samurai”) says, "The perfect blossom is a rare thing. You could spend your life looking for one, and it would not be a wasted life". If there was ever a place to enjoy the tranquility of life, I think you captured it in this image, Bill.
Bill: Every fall, Stone Mountain Park offers plenty of color and beauty to photograph. Leaves reveal their spectacular display. I entitled this picture “Morning Walk”...and just maybe “Tranquility Path” is a good alternate.
Sheri: Aside from enjoying the gorgeous colors everywhere I look, fall always reminds me of the upcoming November-December holiday season, filled with family and friends. It makes my enjoyment of the fall season even sweeter!
The Fall season represents maturity, change, and reflection…a time of harvest and shedding of leaves. It’s time to measure results, and a time to reflect on what we want to change and consider where to go from here.
Enough reflection…go out and enjoy the season!
